Tristan Mohamed


Tristan has worked in various spheres in the past including private industry, NGOs, federal and provincial government. He has an undergraduate degree in Environmental Management from the University of Toronto and a law degree from the University of Ottawa.

Tristan has demonstrated a strong commitment to serving environmental interests through his work with the University of Ottawa Environmental Legal Clinic, Ecojustice and the Canadian Environmental Law Association among other places. He has spearheaded various projects and wrote numerous papers on topics such as aboriginal environmental co-management, encouraging proper plastic disposal, and provincial air pollution regulation.

Tristan currently works at a law firm in Oakville, and is the Founder and CEO of Sotapanna Meditation & Healing, an organization teaching private meditation classes. When he isn’t working, he enjoys meditation, reading, biking and spending time outdoors.
