Over the last 15 years Marsha has worked at the nexus between information science and environmental management, with a wealth of experience from private entrepreneurship, NGOs and the public sector. Marsha holds both a Master of Environmental Science from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Environmental Studies specializing in Information Technology and Biophysical Systems from the University of Waterloo. She has worked overseas with governments and NGOs on improving water quality in the Caribbean and has worked at the federal level protecting species-at-risk in Canada. She currently works in the education sector teaching workshops to students across the GTA on environmental and STEM subjects. Marsha has previous board and funding experience in the environmental conservation sector as well as in youth high performance sports.
